Our Community
At Next Wave Therapy, we believe that a healthy community is a thriving one. We are proud to extend our expertise beyond the clinic by partnering with local athletes and sporting clubs.
Our sponsorships are more than just logos on gear; they represent our commitment to fostering inclusive sport, supporting peak performance, and celebrating the diverse talent within our Western Australian community.
We are thrilled to announce our significant partnership with the Freo Fury Netball Club. This collaboration is deeply rooted in our community, as Next Wave Therapy is owned and operated by parents of a player within the club.
To support the club’s growth and visibility on the court, we have sponsored the production of indigenous position bibs for every team in the club for the 2025 season. This ensures that all players can proudly wear and share the story of this unique artwork every week.
The stunning artwork featured on these bibs was commissioned by Freo Fury through local Noongar artist Bianca Willder.
Next Wave Therapy is honored to sponsor Dani (Danielle Loizou-Lake) and her horse, Jack, a high-performance para-equestrian partnership currently on the Australian National Squad.
Dani’s story is one of incredible resilience. After a spinal cord injury at age 20 left her an incomplete paraplegic, she defied expectations by reclaiming her independence, building a successful professional career, and returning to the sport she loved as a child.
As Dani’s physiotherapists, we have worked closely with her over the past two years to manage the unique physical demands of para-equestrian sport. Our support includes:
Dani and Jack are currently preparing for the National Championships, a vital stepping stone toward their ultimate goal: representing Australia at the Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games.
Our commitment to local sport also extends to the fast-growing community at Padel West. In 2024, Next Wave Therapy was proud to sponsor one of their major competitions, supporting the growth of this dynamic and social sport in our region.
Are you part of a local sporting organization or an athlete looking for professional therapeutic support? We love seeing our community move better and live better.
