Yoga at Next Wave is offered as part of our Occupational Therapy service.

Our Occupational Therapist offers Individual Sessions or Group Classes 

Class Times

  • Wed 5 pm – Stretch, relax and Breathe
  • Wed 6 pm – General Yoga

What’s involved in a Yoga class?

You will need an initial assessment with our occupational therapist, Zoe Cole before joining a Yoga class.

All classes run for one hour with a maximum of 6 people per class. Small group sessions ensure optimal supervision with Yoga instruction that is completely personalised for you and your needs.

What is Yoga?

Yoga is a movement based therapy that integrates mind, body and breath. Literally meaning ‘One’ or ‘Union’, yoga is beneficial for both physical and psychological health. Latest research supports its use for a wide variety of health complaints for example; mobility, pain management, anxiety, depression and PTSD.
