Jonathan graduated from Cardiff University (UK) with a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. In the U.K.,  Jonathan worked in the public health system and also provided Physiotherapy for Welsh Premiership rugby. In 2009 Jonathan and his family emigrated to Western Australia. Since being in Australia, Jonathan has completed a Masters degree in Clinical Physiotherapy with a Manipulative Therapy major at Curtin University. Jonathan is currently completing specialisation training with the Australian College of Physiotherapy.

Jonathan has a special interest in treating neck, shoulder and spinal disorders using manual therapy, dry needling techniques and exercise prescription. To compliment his hands on treatment Jonathan runs Pilates classes and has undertaken Polestar Pilates’ extensive rehabilitation series for health care professionals and is a Dance Medicine Australia level 2 Pilates instructor.

Jonathan also works as a clinical tutor supervising students on the Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy degree for Curtin University. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and young family. As a keen surfer, kite surfer and scuba diver, he likes to be in the water as much as he can.

Sasha graduated from Curtin University, Perth WA as an occupational therapist in 1992.  She has worked in Australia & UK in hospital, community rehabilitation, residential & private health settings and has used an integrative approach in private practice since 2002.

Sasha has a special interest in treating persistent pain and mental health concerns. She is a registered provider of Focused Psychological Therapy under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health initiative.

Committed to best practice & a holistic approach Sasha has completed post graduate training in Naturopathy (Perth Academy of Natural Therapies, 2001); Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT); and 5 Elements Integrative acupressure. 

Sasha enjoys being outdoors, silent moments, invention cooking and a cup of tea with friends.

 Zoe Cole

Certified Yoga Teacher 

Zoe graduated from Occupational Therapy at Curtin University in Perth, WA. She has since been working within a range of clinical areas at a private hospital in Perth, with experience primarily in rehabilitation. 

With a keen interest in yoga and wellness, Zoe completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course in Goa, India, where she trained in both Hatha and Ashtanga styles of yoga. 
Zoe has a special interest in recovery and wellness for both physical and psychological well being. She offers individual consultations and yoga classes at Next Wave Therapy.
Zoe also enjoys being outdoors, rock climbing, camping and anything to do with the ocean!

Emma Chapman-Sharp

Emma Chapman-Sharp is an Australian-trained Naturopath with over 17 years international experience. Emma graduated DUX of her class with over 6 awards, including Outstanding Student in Naturopathy and Distinguished Academic Performance in Nutrition.

Six years of clinical experience in Perth WA was followed by a relocation in 2006 to the UK. A successful launch of her own clinic in East Sussex followed, with a focus on women’s stress and fatigue including thyroid and adrenal support and offering a comprehensive programme for recovery of chronic exhaustive conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.

Emma has a passion for teaching and training – facilitating at workshops and seminars for complementary health practitioners across the UK, holding regular training webinars from her home in Margaret River and speaking at various conferences. Emma also offers a mentoring programme for newly qualified practitioners dealing with difficult cases.

Emma was involved in hosting ‘Stress in the Workplace’ workshops for the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and was an integral part of the team presenting to the National Health Service addressing shortcomings in services for people with chronic illness. 

When the time came to return to Western Australia 3 years ago, Emma adapted her clinic, so clients were able to access consultations remotely online, and continues to achieve fantastic results with clients spread throughout the UK and Europe.

Living in Margaret River with her family, Emma enjoys walking her dog, kayaking on the river, sampling the local wines and reading blood test results in her spare time!

Emma consults at Next Wave Therapy every month and offers Skype consultations in between visits.
